The interior design is wonderful, it’s beautiful and tidy and clean and really captures culture. The service was great, I had a large group and my server was patient and attentive all throughout. Food was delicious especially the eel! I ordered most of them menu items to try except the sushi and it all hit the spot. The truffle fries were delicious as well. It gets quite busy at around 2pm where a line kind of started to form so try to get there before that time!

Visited Izakaya Nana in Chantilly, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the beautiful decoration—vibrant Japanese-inspired details, elegant lighting, and a cozy yet stylish atmosphere that made me feel like I’d been transported to Tokyo. It’s clear that every corner of this place was designed with care and creativity. The food was just as impressive as the ambiance. I like the salmon skin dish, it was a crispy, flavorful masterpiece—perfectly prepared with a texture that was both satisfying and unique. The sushi plate was another highlight; every piece was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with taste. It’s obvious they use top-quality ingredients and put real artistry into their craft. What made the evening even better was our server, Jason. He was attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His warm personality and knowledge of the menu added a special touch to the whole experience. Izakaya Nana is a gem in Chantilly—great food, stunning decor, and fantastic service. I can’t wait to come back!

The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We ordered a variety of small plates to share, the sashimi was incredibly fresh and melted in our mouths. Each dish came out at the perfect pace, giving us time to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. This place is perfect for a relaxed night out with friends or a casual date spot. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese food and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere!

Wow this place is no joke— Izakaya Nana is an amazing restaurant with the greatest service, atmosphere, and quality of food. Everything we tasted was delicious and seasoned perfectly! The staff was so kind and accommodating and went out of their way to talk to us- they were definitely the highlight of our experience today. The food was also amazing— they have a large selection of entrees and appetizers that fit every occasion. We already can’t wait to come back! Also Godzilla bathroom! So cool! Linda was the best server ever!!! So nice, helpful and considerate!

It was our first time here and it was a great experience. The ambiance is vibing. Everyone on the staff was amazing (special shout out to Linda, Calvin and Emily) who took care of us on our foodie experience at Izakaya Nana, Chantilly. Everything we ordered was very tasty and delicious. This will easily be one of our favorite places to dine again and again. As an added and surprised perk, they offer military discount.

After reading some of the lower rated reviews, I realize that some people will never be pleased. On the other hand, I had a fantastic time and I will 1000% be going back. When we first arrived (without a reservation) they told us the wait time was going to be 1.5hrs, which is understandable and that is on me for being a walk-in. After about 25-30 mins I received a call saying our table was ready. The atmosphere is amazing, I love the look and the music was top tier. The initial server, I forgot his name- (very tall, dark hair, asian guy) he was super nice. I asked for recommendations and he was super thorough and went thru the whole menu and even made it a very funny experience. 10/10, we went with all of his recommendations and the food was amazing. Everything we ordered, we enjoyed. (If there was anything I didn’t like, I understand that people like different things and this is not the restaurant’s fault) Our other server, Linda, she was super sweet and caring. Always made sure to keep an eye on us even if she was very busy. Super hard working and she 100% deserves a raise. Overall, me and my friends fell in love with this place and will be coming back very soon!

Food was wonderful, everything we had was delicious! Service was one of a kind! We were well taken care of. Sadly, we forgot his name, he has curly hair and a very genuine smile on his face. The restaurant is amazingly cute!

Love this place! Great vibe. Food was delicious and delivered quickly. Our friendly server, Tiffany, knew the menu and gave us some great recommendations. Liked the push button to call our server when we were ready to order and to pay. Looking forward to returning to try more items on the menu.
